"An engineer accused of treason runs from the law in order to clear her name and recover the fastest train in the West, which has been stolen by a notorious outlaw to pull off a million-dollar robbery."
A few notes: -I couldn't think of a fitting adjective for the engineer (convicted? condemned?), so went with 'accused of treason' for the time being. Maybe 'imprisoned' or 'wrongly imprisoned'? -I originally had "...engineer goes on the lam...", but someone didn't know what that meant, resulting in "...runs from the law..." -it's her train
Thanks for feedback!

How about this?
A notorious outlaw steals the fastest train in the West to pull off a million-dollar robbery. The only man who can stop him is an engineer accused of treason.

I'm having trouble wrapping my head around the whole story. What time period is this piece in? I think you need to simplify it a little.
After the fastest train in the West is stolen by the most notorious outlaw, an engineer runs from the law to steal it back.
