Not talking New Year’s Resolutions here... people rarely keep those, but what goals have you promised yourself for the coming year? For myself, it is to finish a screenplay I started in March of 2012 (18 pages), to revise an existing script and, finally, to start a new, totally original screenplay. I also plan to make myself more “visible” by using Social Media to my advantage. I already Tweet to the Twitter-verse (@schererwriter) ... and I’m a member of LinkedIn ( www.linkedin.com/), The Script Boutique ( scriptboutique.co.uk/), Stage32 ( www.stage32.com/), AfterSet ( www.after-set.com/), and Talent Circle ( www.talentcircle.org/). The more the merrier. So, what are your plans/goals for 2013? Share with your fellow writers. Participate at SWU. Learn. Teach. Do. And always, Keep Writing!

Well, just in case you were wondering, my New Year's resolution is to give up guilt. It's what I give up for lent every year, as well. One of these years I'll succeed!
My writing goals are to finish the two novels I'm working on and take one of the three outlined scripts to pages.

Finish the trilogy of novels I am working on (rewriting 1/3 now), rewrite my first screenplay, and finish the second that I started.

Good to hear from you Aaron...
Wow! So far we have six novels and six screenplays in various stages of development. We are an ambitious lot.
I truly hope each of you attain the goals set out because that would make 2013 a very productive year.

Keep Writing!

Four polished, sellable scripts... with one sale.
Complete first drafts, second drafts and revisions on various other scripts.
Complete a first draft of a novel I've been carrying around with me a long time.
Good luck to everyone.
