What's the last movie you have watched?
Did you read the screenplay for it?
Did you like the movie?
The most current movie that I viewed at the theaters would have to be - Immortals.
Hmmm. That best describes my first reaction to it. I guess my biggest problem was not understanding what was going on right from the beginning. A strange story, which eventually gave up some details.
The biggest thing for me was that I should have read up on Greek Gods and Mythology before going to the movie. I was a little lost with parts of it.
The parts of the story that I did like - All of the fight scenes. Excellent.
What about anyone else?

The last movie I watched in a theater was Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. But the last movie I watched was The Set-Up (1949) with Robert Ryan and Audrey Totter. Now before you go, HUH ? I am watching several film-noir classics to learn all I can about this cinema style. I plan to write a noir type script later this year.

That last movie I watched was The Skin I Live In. Still not sure if I liked it or not (although I do think of it often, so I guess that's something). I think it's due to the way it's structured, although I can totally see why it was done the way the film makers chose.
Before that I watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Chose this as I'd recently read the script. Both film and script are excellent.

A Pure Formality (1994) starring: Gérard Depardieu, Roman Polanski
Summary: Onoff is a famous writer who hasn't published any new books for quite some time and has become a recluse. When he is picked up by the police one stormy night, without any identification, out of breath and running madly, without clear memory of recent events, the Inspector is suspicious. Through interrogatory dialectic, the head of this lonely, isolated, broken-down police station tries to establish what has happened, by delving into the mind of his writer-hero, and clearing up a mysterious killing.
I give it 8/10... Definitely an interesting movie. Lots of symbolism and imagery i'll have to go back and look into. Recommend if you're a fan of films like 'The Ninth Configuration' and 'Jacob's Ladder'.

The last movie I watched was "Who Saw Her Die?" directed by Aldo Lado and starring George Lazenby. It was a pretty pathetic Giallo, done quite badly, actually.
Just finished reading "Citizen Kane", and "Chinatown" right before it. Obviously, they're both fantastic.
