I find being able to see outlines or beat sheets for produced scripts that are in a similar vein of my own projects to be an invaluable tool in my own development. I'm wondering if anyone out there has examples of outlines. I would love copies of actual outlines done by pros for produced films. However, I realize how hard those are to come by. If anyone also has outlines or beat sheets that they've written up that would be great as well. For instance, www.beatsheetcentral.com/ used to be a great resource. Writers would create their own beat sheets for produced works. However, that site seems to have been abandoned after only a short period of use. Anyone out there have outlines or know of a great resource for them? I've attached a beat sheet of Sideways. It was written by a viewer, but does the job just fine for my purposes. -- brian Attachments:

Brian, I feel your pain There is a site that discusses treatments and outlines in depth and offers a few examples. The site is Wordplayer at www.wordplayer.com/columns/wp37.Proper.Treatment.html created and run by screenwriters Terry Rossio and Ted Elliot -- maybe you've heard of them . Good Luck!

Thanks Mscherer,
I've ambled over to their site a few times. I guess what I'm really hoping for is a similar site to beatsheetcentral that I've been unaware of. Or maybe some intrepid reader of GITS should just go out and start one???
