Folks, To get the ball rolling here..... A logline needs to convey at least four pieces of information: 1. Who is the protagonist? 2. Who (what) is the antagonist? 3. What is the situation? 4. What are the stakes? Thoughts? How do you write loglines? Examples? Anyone need help with a logline? Jump in with both feet -- don't be shy

Another thing I'd have to say is that it has to give "concept shots". And by that I mean, it has to leave you with images of the concept in your head, like Jack with Robin Williams, the log line:
Because of an unusual aging disorder that has aged him four times faster than a normal human being, a boy enters the fifth grade for the first time with the appearance of a 40 year old man.
Makes me imagine a man with the beginnings of turkey neck attempting to squeeze into a classroom seat for a child, being just a littttle too good at dodgeball and hurting the kids, sad none of the girls have crushes on "ogre boy". You know what I mean?
