Hate seeing a blank category on the boards, so I thought I would take the bull by the horns, as they say, and get things started.
Have you dealt with any producers? What was your experience? How did you first make contact?
Not asking for names here -- lord knows these folks get enough emails from wannabes every day -- what I am looking for is information on how best to deal with producers, initiate contact with producers and how to keep those lines of communication open.

I'm sure by the looks of things that no one is going to see this but ... When it comes to getting in touch with producers, when you're script is ready, go to Virtual PitchFest. You can buy blocks of pitches - query letters really - and send them to producers. They get back to you within five days. My other suggestion is the 2013 Hollywood Screenwriting Directory.
